Memorial runs west along the I-10 (Katy Freeway) corridor from Loop 610 out toward the Addicks and Barker reservoirs. Its main zip codes are 77024 (the Memorial Villages and the eastern core) and 77079 (Memorial West, toward Eldridge), and the area touches 77055, 77043, 77056 and 77057 at the edges. Broadly it is bounded by I-10 to the north, Buffalo Bayou to the south, Loop 610 to the east and the reservoirs to the west. Most of Memorial is zoned to Spring Branch ISD.
