Which one you need depends on the neighborhood — and zip boundaries are postal delivery areas, not political ones, so a single Houston-area zip can sit in Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Montgomery or Waller County. Downtown Houston is 77002. The districts around it use their own zip codes — 77003 for EaDo to the east, 77010 for the Houston Center blocks, 77004 south toward the Museum District, 77006 in Montrose and 77019 toward River Oaks.
